Concierge & Integrative Medicine
Dr. Alexander Egerter
Care rooted in standard of care, extended by precision and personalized medicine — for patients whose needs don't fit the usual model.
Practice
As an NCAA gymnast, I sustained injuries that standard care couldn't fully resolve, and that frustration sent me looking for something better.
I've spent my career in two worlds that rarely talk to each other: the conventional medicine most of us grew up with, and the newer, precision and personalized world that's hard to make sense of from the outside.
Mindset
Everything I do is rooted in standard of care, and for most people, most of the time, that's exactly right — the safest, most proven path we have. But some people don't fit neatly into “most people” — and that's where the usual model runs out of answers. Closing that gap is what I've spent years learning to do.
Some treatments show real promise but haven't entered routine practice; others are heavily marketed despite little benefit — or real harm. My goal isn't to replace conventional medicine or chase every new therapy — it's to use the best tools available, old or new, when the evidence and the patient in front of me point the same way.
Training
My formal training is in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine and Emergency Medicine, followed by a three-year apprenticeship in integrative primary care — spanning the spectrum of modern medicine. I've also partnered with Gordon Medical, a practice that's spent decades evaluating emerging therapies with a critical eye — sharpening my ability to say plainly what's worth doing, what isn't, and what to stay away from.
Patients
I practice in a concierge model, with a deliberately small panel of patients, so I can give each person real time and attention. The result is the kind of care many people feel they've lost — a doctor who knows you, is easy to reach, and helps you navigate an increasingly complicated system.
I'll track what matters for your long-term health, coordinate your specialists, and be there if you land in the ER or hospital.
When something beyond standard care is warranted — a regenerative treatment, a deeper evaluation — we'll talk it through. When it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
